As a musician that will someday get back to making music on a more regular basis, MySpace is an important tool for marketing and promoting. Personally I don't care much for how some musicians whore themselves out on MySpace just building up thousands of "friends" made up of people they don't know and most of whom probably haven't even listened to their music.
It's to the point that to be taken seriously on MySpace you need to have a large number of friends. With that in mind I'm asking those of you who have MySpace accounts to please ask to be my friend through this link. At least if regular readers of my website request my friendship, they are people who are somewhat familiar with who I am and what I stand for and not just random faces. Besides I would like to get to know my readers a little better by checking out their MySpace pages as well.
